Project History

What is now a multi-tenant retail center located on the busiest highway corridor in the Upper Peninsula began as a single-tenant electronics store that eventually failed. Veridea recognized that the building did not optimize the potential of the site – lack of signage, a poorly conceived design, and insufficient parking all drew away from the positive attributes of the location. As part of Veridea’s strategy to redevelop the property, a complete facade renovation was conducted, including the construction of new storefronts; 60 new parking spaces and a cross drive to the adjacent Target store were created; a corner tower was constructed to improve signage; and the interior of the building was gutted with new custom build outs completed for all tenants. Today, the former concrete warehouse is fully leased to a mix of national retailers and restaurants.
