MARQUETTE – The Veridea Group / Liberty Way Hospitality announced the addition of Staybridge Suites to the Marquette area at a groundbreaking ceremony on June 24th at 9a.m. at the Liberty Way campus, 855 W. Washington Street.
This is the second of Veridea’s three-phase project at Liberty Way. When complete, Staybridge Suites will be an all-suite extended stay hotel with 102 rooms, each with a full kitchen and other necessities to make guests feel at home.
Veridea Group personnel say they are excited to expand the hospitality options for the Marquette area and looked forward to the groundbreaking ceremony as well as the opportunities the Staybridge Suites will bring Marquette residents and visitors.
“The addition of this hotel will enhance the community by allowing more options for travelers, particularly those planning an extended stay to the area,” said Veridea Director of Communications, Michele Thomas. “The Staybridge Suites will be a home-like atmosphere for business travelers and all other manner of visitors.”
The $20 million project will be constructed by Miron Construction Co. of Neenah, WI and designed by Myefski Architects. The hotel will have underground parking, a terrace overlooking downtown Marquette, and an expanded fitness and sports court facilities, and is expected to be completed by next July.Back to News
