MARQUETTE – A local real estate development company announced a new retail center in Marquette Township on Monday.
Members of the Veridea Group LLC broke ground on the West Towne Center, a 12-storefront, $2-million development on two acres located along Wright Street, just west of Super One Foods.
According to Veridea officials, construction of the 14,400-square foot building will begin soon and tenants will begin to move in around November or December.
Confirmed businesses include Arby’s and Wild Birds Unlimited. Veridea officials said they are working with other national, regional and local businesses to become prospective tenants.
The architectural firm DSGW (Damberg Scott Gerzina Wagner) Architects out of Duluth, Minn., designed the building.
