MARQUETTE – Remote and traveling professionals have a new officing option in Marquette. Veridea Group has opened a professional co-office space in the newly renovated Kaufman Block located at 101 West Washington. CoLAB welcomed its first member April 1.
CoLAB offers flexible working space without the commitment of a long-term lease. Private office spaces and open areas allow for a variety of activities from heads down work to receiving clients and hosting meetings. CoLAB features a range of membership levels for a variety of needs, including an open coworking area and full-time private offices in an assortment of sizes.
Membership amenities include conference and meeting rooms with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment for remote meetings, high speed internet, printing, a phone booth, kitchenette, and private wellness room.
CoLAB manager Vicki Snyder describes the concept as an elevated co-working or professional private officing space.
“It’s geared toward established professionals who need a quiet place to touch down whether they are local or traveling,” Snyder said. “It has all of the advantages of a full-time office suite, but the commitment is a membership with flexible time frames rather than a lease.”
